Good afternoon,

My family purchased a GoldenDoodle her name was FREYA from the breeder Kinzie Doodles who we are currently investigating. This breeder sold us a puppy and it passed away at 12 weeks. Five days after we received the puppy it had a seizure over the next 48 hours the puppy had several seizures. We contacted the above breeder Stephen Lee Parham of Corona, California. We purchased the puppy for $3700. Stephen informed us during this conversation that it happened prior to him giving us the puppy but he was confident it was hypoglycemia and would grow out of it (his opinion not the opinion of a licensed Veterinarian). He did not share this with us until after it happened to the puppy when we brought her home. After a couple visits with the puppy to the veterinarian and several tests the puppy was returned to the breeder. Stephen said he would care for the puppy for a couple of weeks and take it to the veterinarian again if needed. The puppy in his care had more seizures again in addition to not eating or drinking well. He shared he was giving the puppy Lactated Ringers and making puppy formula and feeding it low sodium deli turkey from the local grocery store. He convinced us again the puppy was well and would outgrow what he claims was hypoglycemia which the Veterinarian we took Freya to did not agree with. We took our puppy back after 2 weeks of being in his care again. The puppy passed away 48 hours after we brought her home and the above breeder, Stephen Parham took no responsibility and only provided half of the money back for just the cost of the puppy. We spent almost $2000 on vet bills trying to find out why the puppy was having these seizures. We took the puppy to the ER veterinary hospital 48 hours after we got her back because she was vomiting and passing blood. We are devastated, Freya passed away at the veterinary office in our arms on 6/8/2021. She will forever be in our hearts.

Sadly this was a sick puppy from the start and Stephen failed to be honest and even after several medical incidents he refused to honor a full money back guarantee or take the puppy to a vet himself.

We are reaching out because this story needs to be heard so no other animals and families are impacted by a tragedy from this person. Please help!

I beg you to please investigate Stephen Lee Parham of 3233 Braemar Ln. Corona, CA. 92882 d.b.a. as Kinzie Doodles in Corona California.

My family will be contacting the local authorities, local newspapers, the Humane Society and several other animal organizations sharing this same information to make sure that only quality care is given to any animals in his home. We are not even sure if he has permits and licenses to be breeding in his home. Please know that we have given Stephen Lee Parham d.b.a. Kinzie Doodles notice of our family conducting an investigation and he has chosen to not respond.

This is a very sad ending for a puppy whose name was Freya born 3/15/2021. This not only makes us sad but it angers us that someone is this cruel and insensitive to the life of an animal. He never once took this puppy to a veterinary himself when it was in his care. All visits and expenses for all tests and vet care were incurred by my family. We have reached out to him to give him the opportunity to refund the remainder of the cost of the puppy only, not the $2k incurred in vet bills and he has taken no action or responsibility.
